AbbVie (ABBV.US) Expands Oxford, UK R&D Facility, Betting on Innovation in Immunology, Neuroscience, and Oncology Drugs

Zhitong Finance APP has learned that U.S. pharmaceutical company AbbVie (ABBV.US) said on Wednesday that, as part of an investment plan exceeding 120 million pounds (approximately $161 million), it has expanded its research and development facility in Oxford, England. The investment comes several months after the United States and the United Kingdom finalized an agreement. The agreement aims to raise U.K. drug prices in line with the latest U.S. drug pricing policy proposed by U.S. President Trump.
