Hong Kong: Provisional estimate of total restaurant receipts value for Q3 is HK$27.5 billion, up 3.1% year on year.

Zhitong Finance APP has learned that on November 3, the Hong Kong Census and Statistics Department released the latest provisional figures on restaurant receipts and purchases. The provisional estimate of the total value of restaurant receipts for the third quarter of 2026 was HK$27.5 billion, up 3.1% year on year. Over the same period, the provisional estimate of total restaurant purchases was HK$9.0 billion, up 5.4% year on year. After adjusting for price changes during the period, the provisional estimate of total restaurant receipts for the third quarter of 2026 in volume terms was 2.1% higher than the same quarter last year.
