Equity ETFs continue to see net inflows; A-shares rise on higher volume on the first trading day of November.
On November 2, the first trading day of November, the A-share market staged a volume-backed rebound, with major indices rising across the board. The Shanghai Composite Index, Shenzhen Component Index, and ChiNext Index all gained more than 1%, while the STAR Composite Index rose more than 2%. Concept sectors such as short drama games, stock trading software, and Kimi led the market, with more than 4,600 stocks advancing and over 130 stocks hitting the daily limit up. Market turnover stood at 1.80 trillion yuan, a marked increase in volume compared with the previous trading day. On the funding side, equity ETFs recorded cumulative net inflows of more than 390 billion yuan in October, and on November 2, main funds in the Shanghai and Shenzhen markets saw net inflows of more than 5 billion yuan. Analysts believe that with the active participation of medium- and long-term funds, the market may gradually begin to stabilize, and a range-bound rotation pattern that trades time for space may remain a feature.
