Egypt makes final anti-dumping ruling on Chinese-involved cold-rolled coil, galvanized coil, and color-coated coil steel products

On April 1, 2026, Egypt's Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade issued a notice stating that, given that Egypt has already imposed safeguard measures on the imported products involved, it has decided to terminate the anti-dumping investigation into cold-rolled coil, galvanized coil, and color-coated coil steel products originating in or imported from Trkiye and China, and will not impose anti-dumping measures. The Egyptian tariff codes for the products involved are 720915, 720916, 720917, 720918, 720925, 720926, 720927, 720928, 720990, 721041, 721049, 721061, 721070, 721090, 721123, 721129, 721190, 721230, 721240, 721250, 721260, 722592, 722599, 722692, and 722699. On October 29, 2024, Egypt initiated an anti-dumping investigation into cold-rolled coil, galvanized coil, and color-coated coil steel products originating in or imported from Trkiye and China. The dumping investigation period of the case was from July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024, and the injury investigation period was from January 1, 2021 to June 30, 2024.
