Shenzhen AI animated feature film "Lotus Lantern: Mortal Heart Questions Heaven" goes online, a 120-minute "AI-assisted production" exploring a new expression of mythology.

On October 31, an animated feature film labeled "AI-assisted production," *Lotus Lantern: Mortal Heart Questions Heaven*, premiered exclusively on Tencent Video and Aurora TV. With a runtime of nearly 120 minutes, the film is adapted from the story of "Chenxiang Rescues His Mother" and reconstructs the mythological narrative around "a mortal heart questioning heavenly law." It represents a complete-scale exploration by a Shenzhen-based local team in the field of AI feature-length animation. The film is produced by Shenzhen Ouxi Network Technology Co., Ltd., directed by Lai Yi, and written by Zhu Mengxing. Unlike typical AI short dramas and vertical-screen comic dramas, the film is being tested by the market in a complete feature-length format. On its first day online, its popularity score on Tencent Video reached 17,009, topping both the film animation chart and the overall soaring chart; it ranked first on Maoyan's all-platform popularity chart; and related topic views on Douyin exceeded 205 million.
