Zhitong Finance APP has learned that Midland Realty analyst Cen Songqian pointed out that, according to data compiled by the Midland Realty Research Center from the Land Registry, in 2026 (as of October 29), the total number of registrations for overall property (including first-hand private residential units, second-hand residential properties, first-hand public housing, industrial and commercial shops, pure parking spaces and others) recorded 74,368 transactions, about 15.2% higher than the 64,582 transactions in the first 10 months of last year; the amount involved reached HK$607.8 billion, also about 23.8% higher than HK$490.8 billion in the first 10 months of last year. Both the number of transactions and the amount reached a new high for the same period in the five years since 2021. This year, both the "volume and value" of overall property rose together, reflecting an improvement in the property market performance.
