Hengtong Optic-Electric: Chairman proposes share buyback
Hengtong Optic-Electric announced that on November 1, 2026, the company received a share repurchase proposal from Chairman Cui Wei, proposing to use its own funds or self-raised funds to repurchase A-shares through centralized bidding, with the total repurchase amount not less than RMB 100 million and not more than RMB 200 million, and the repurchase price not exceeding 150% of the average trading price of the company's shares over the 30 trading days prior to the board's adoption of the repurchase resolution. The repurchase period is within 12 months from the date the board deliberates and approves the repurchase plan, and the repurchased shares are intended to be used for employee equity incentives/employee stock ownership plans or to reduce registered capital. Cui Wei had no trading of the company's shares in the 6 months prior to the proposal, has no current plans to increase or decrease holdings during the repurchase period, and will vote in favor of the repurchase proposal at the board meeting. This repurchase is still subject to approval procedures and remains uncertain.
