Nvidia in talks to provide billions in credit support for a $45 billion Anthropic-related deal for a cloud provider

Nvidia is in talks to provide billions of dollars in credit guarantees for emerging AI cloud provider Nscale, helping the latter raise financing to build a 460-megawatt data center that will be used by Anthropic, according to people familiar with the negotiations. The deal has not been signed and terms could still change. But it again reflects how Nvidia continues to provide financial support to emerging compute clouds such as Nscale, CoreWeave and Firmus; these vendors have taken on heavy debt to build new data centers and are coming under pressure from investors.
