Huaxian Optoelectronics (00334.HK) total turnover for the first 9 months decreased by 6.6% year-on-year to approximately RMB 5.052 billion.
Zhitong Finance APP News, China Display Optoelectronics (00334.HK) announced that in the first nine months of 2026, driven by its product diversification strategy and stable growth in orders from brand customers, the group's total sales volume increased by 9.4% year-on-year to 63.9 million units, while total revenue decreased by 6.6% year-on-year to approximately RMB 5.052 billion. Revenue failed to grow in line with sales volume, mainly due to changes in product mix and a decline in average selling prices caused by intensified market competition. During the review period, the group's average selling price of products declined by 6.1% year-on-year to RMB 77.7. Affected by the downward trend in average market prices and product mix adjustments, average selling prices of various products were generally under pressure, sales volume growth varied, and overall operating performance was mixed. Tablet modules performed relatively well, with sales volume increasing by 124.4% year-on-year to 24.9 million units; average selling prices declined due to changes in product mix, while related revenue increased by 27.7% year-on-year to RMB 3.2674 billion, becoming the group's main source of growth. For handset modules, sales volume during the review period decreased by 17.6% year-on-year to 39.0 million units; average selling prices remained broadly stable at RMB 43 to 44 during the year, but were down about 10% compared with the same period last year, and related revenue decreased by 25.5% year-on-year to RMB 1.6949 billion due to the impact of both sales volume and average prices. Overall, while consolidating the scale of its existing brand customers, the group actively expanded medium-sized module businesses such as tablets to optimize its product mix and mitigate the impact of fluctuations in the handset market on overall operations.
