Satellite Internet Industry-University-Research Joint Innovation Program Launched

On October 28, at the 27th Satellite Application Conference, the Satellite Internet Industry-University-Research Joint Innovation Program was launched, with the first batch of participating units including nearly 60 universities, research institutes, and enterprises. The program carries out cooperation around satellite internet, including jointly building courses, cultivating students' engineering capabilities, reserving industry talent through practical training, and opening testing conditions to support enterprises' technological development. Research directions include six items such as satellite-computing collaboration and space computing power, direct-to-cell satellite connectivity, 6G non-terrestrial networks, and inter-satellite laser communication.
