Ningbo's GDP for the first three quarters was 1,443.4 billion yuan, up 5.3% year on year.

On October 27, the Ningbo Municipal Bureau of Statistics released the economic performance of Ningbo for the first three quarters of 2026. According to the unified accounting results of the province's gross domestic product, the city's gross domestic product for the first three quarters was 1,443.4 billion yuan, an increase of 5.3% year on year at constant prices, higher than the national level. By industry, the value added of the primary industry was 31.1 billion yuan, up 4.0%; the value added of the secondary industry was 621.6 billion yuan, up 6.3%; and the value added of the tertiary industry was 790.7 billion yuan, up 4.6%. The ratio of the three industries was 2.1:43.1:54.8. The contribution rates of the three industries to GDP growth were 1.7%, 50.9% and 47.4%, respectively.
