China Biopharmaceutical: Two Innovative Hepatitis B Drugs Included in Breakthrough Therapy Designation Program

China Biopharmaceutical issued a voluntary announcement that two National Class 1 innovative drugs independently developed by its subsidiary Chia Tai Tianqing have both been granted Breakthrough Therapy Designation by the Center for Drug Evaluation of China's National Medical Products Administration. The two innovative drugs target functional cure and low-level viremia in the treatment of chronic hepatitis B, respectively. Currently, one of the innovative drugs has initiated Phase III clinical trials, and the other is about to enter Phase III clinical trials.
