Beijing Energy International (00686.HK) plans to launch an asset-backed note issuance

Zhitong Finance APP News, Beijing Energy International (00686.HK) announced that the Company intends to launch an asset-backed note issuance and expects to register the asset-backed notes with the National Association of Financial Market Institutional Investors in November 2026 or such later date as may be determined, and to issue them in the China Interbank Bond Market, for the purpose of investing in and securitizing the underlying assets held by Jingneng Development, a subsidiary of the Company, as well as raising funds for the operation and development of the Group's business. For the purpose of the asset-backed note issuance, the Company will, in connection with the asset-backed note issuance and for the benefit of the holders of the asset-backed notes, engage China Railway Trust as the trustee and management institution of the asset-backed note trust in respect of such underlying assets.
