Anthropic's IPO filing submitted on Monday shows that the company's seven founders each hold approximately 1.4% of shares, with each person's wealth exceeding $13 billion. This places all seven individuals, including siblings Dario and Daniela Amodei, among the top 300 on the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, with wealth surpassing well-known financial figures such as Bill Ackman and Stan Druckenmiller. The wealth estimates are based on Anthropic's most recent funding round valuation of $965 billion, higher than the previous estimate of $8 billion per person. If Anthropic's IPO successfully reaches the $2 trillion valuation previously proposed by investors, according to the Bloomberg Wealth Index, each of the seven founders would be worth more than $27 billion before accounting for equity dilution caused by newly issued shares. In addition to the Amodei siblings, Anthropic's other co-founders are Tom Brown, Jack Clark, Jared Kaplan, Sam McCandlish, and Christopher Olah. The filing shows that all seven have pledged to devote 80% of their personally held Anthropic shares to philanthropy.
