Eurozone Q3 economic growth may slow; ECB likely to hold steady this week.
Zhito Finance APP has learned that weakening economic growth momentum may become one of the reasons for the European Central Bank to temporarily shelve its interest rate hike actions. Although most of the current focus in the eurozone is on France's fiscal difficulties and bond market issues, the latest surveys show that data to be released this Friday will indicate that the eurozone's third-quarter economic growth rate may slow from 0.6% in the second quarter to 0.2%. Meanwhile, several other surveys show that inflation rates in the eurozone's four largest economies did not show an obvious broad upward trend in October.
