AECC: China's first 4MW-class DR40 gas turbine completes 72-hour long-term test run

According to AECC, on October 22, China's first 4MW-class DR40 gas turbine successfully completed a 72-hour long-term trial run test. The test was conducted throughout in combined heat and power operation mode, with the unit operating stably and all test parameters meeting design expectations. The DR40 gas turbine was developed as a series based on the mature core engine of the DR30 gas turbine independently developed by AECC South Industry. The product targets the emergency power generation and distributed energy markets, mainly for application scenarios such as emergency power supply vehicles, data center backup power, and combined heat and power.
