An investor asked Zhejiang Shibao on the interactive platform: The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and three other departments have issued a draft for comments, classifying steer-by-wire as a virtual control component, requiring prior safety assessment, reliability testing of 30,000 kilometers, two winters and one summer of environmental testing, and prohibiting direct reliance on supplier verification reports. Does the company's SBW steer-by-wire currently meet this standard in testing? Has it independently completed the full set of actual tests? Will the new regulations raising the entry threshold cause delays in the SOP of customer-nominated models, affecting the company's production launch and small-batch supply plans for the steer-by-wire project under its private placement? Zhejiang Shibao replied on October 26 that the company's steer-by-wire products internally need to undergo multiple rounds of bench durability and reliability testing, and the test conditions include various extreme operating conditions such as high and low temperatures; the standards adopted reference the OEM enterprise standards of the projects, which are overall higher than national standards; the company's testing center has passed CNAS certification as well as certification from each cooperating OEM, and has a full set of testing capabilities. As steering is a safety component, the company strictly complies with and implements the testing standards and specifications of cooperating OEMs and the state to ensure product safety. Whether the new regulations will cause adjustments to the project SOP timetable is currently unknown.
