Vui Admits Ruling Party's Election Defeat

Former Serbian President Vucic acknowledged on the evening of October 25 local time that the electoral alliance led by the Serbian Progressive Party lost the parliamentary election held that day. The Serbian Election Commission has not yet announced the final election results. Vucic stated that, according to stratified sampling results, the "Student List - Students Win" movement, driven by student groups, is expected to win 135 to 140 of the 250 seats in the National Assembly and win the election. He said he accepts the election results and will conduct political activities as an opposition party.
