Meituan announced on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange that it proposes to issue RMB-denominated senior notes. The aggregate principal amount, interest rate, payment dates and certain other terms and conditions of the notes have not yet been determined. The company intends to use the net proceeds from the proposed note offering primarily for refinancing existing offshore debt and other general corporate purposes.
