Huaneng Lancang River Hydropower (600025.SH) plans to acquire 100% equity of HNYL for RMB 8.701 billion to expand its clean energy business layout.

Zhitong Finance APP News, Huaneng Hydropower (600025.SH) issued an announcement that the company plans to acquire 100% equity of HNYL Company held by its controlling shareholder China Huaneng Group Co., Ltd. (referred to as Huaneng Group) by cash, with a transaction amount of 8.701 billion yuan. HNYL Company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Huaneng Group, mainly engaged in the investment, development, construction and operation management of clean energy projects such as hydropower, wind power and photovoltaic power generation in relevant river basins and surrounding areas in Southwest China, and carries out power production and sales and related technical services. As of May 31, 2026, HNYL Company has a total installed capacity of 1,541.4 MW in operation and 830 MW under construction.
