Shanghai's Xiaolujiazui urban renewal has made progress. According to the plan, the Xiaolujiazui area in Pudong New Area will not only promote the renewal of commercial buildings, but will also use Mingzhu Plaza and an aerial cloud corridor to more closely connect office buildings, green spaces, and the riverside space. On October 25, 2026, reporters learned from a planning release event held by the Shanghai Municipal Planning and Natural Resources Bureau and the Pudong New Area People's Government that the "Xiaolujiazui Business Unit Renewal and Enhancement Plan and the Regulatory Detailed Planning for Unit LJZ-01" has been officially approved by the Shanghai Municipal Government. In the future, Xiaolujiazui will further enhance the functional capacity and spatial quality of the core carrying area of the international financial center through measures such as commercial building renewal, mixed-use functions, and public space optimization.
