Apple plans to optimize Safari layout on iPhone Duo's outer screen.

Apple is considering making adjustments to the Safari browser on the iPhone Duo to allow webpages to use more of the outer screen display area, but Apple has not yet finalized the plan. The challenge lies in allowing webpages to fill the area beneath Safari's side controls without making page content obscured and inaccessible. In a WebKit official blog post on Friday, October 23, Apple engineer Jen Simmons said that existing webpage configurations can achieve this effect, but Apple's research found that a large number of websites cannot properly support this setting.
