From today until March 27 next year, civil aviation across the country will officially implement the 2026/2027 winter-spring flight schedule. In the new season, a total of 216 domestic and international airlines plan to arrange 116,000 passenger and cargo flights per week, with red tourism + cultural tourism routes constantly being added. On the domestic flight front, 61 airlines plan to arrange 94,000 domestic flights per week, including 91,454 passenger flights and 2,812 cargo flights per week. In the new season, 34 domestic airlines plan to open 288 new domestic routes, most of which are concentrated on trunk-to-branch connecting routes between the Northwest, Northeast, and Southwest regions and the East China and Central-South regions, promoting the continuous improvement of a cross-regional, multi-level aviation network. Airlines are also actively opening and increasing the frequency of red tourism routes such as Wuhan to Zunyi, Chengdu, and Hefei to Yan'an. At the same time, route layouts to popular tourism destinations such as Altay, Tengchong, and Zhangye continue to expand.
