According to a report received by the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO), an incident occurred at 7 nautical miles northeast of Lima, Oman, on the evening of October 22 local time. An oil tanker reported that it was hit by an unidentified projectile while transiting outbound through the Strait of Hormuz.
