According to data from the National Charging Facility Monitoring Service Platform, as of the end of September 2026, the total number of electric vehicle charging infrastructures (guns) in China reached 24.777 million, a year-on-year increase of 37.2%. Among them, public charging facilities (guns) totaled 5.207 million, a year-on-year increase of 16.3%, with total rated power reaching 266 million kilowatts and an average power per gun of approximately 51.10 kilowatts; private charging facilities (guns) totaled 19.570 million, a year-on-year increase of 44.0%, and the applied electricity capacity for private charging facilities reached 167 million kilovolt-amperes.
