Zhito Finance APP has learned that Eiji Maeda, a former executive director who was responsible for the Bank of Japan's monetary policy affairs, said the BOJ may continue raising interest rates once every three months to curb the risk of inflation deviating from its price stability target. He said: "I expect the BOJ's next rate hike to be in December, followed by another hike possibly in March or April next year." "The pace of rate hikes has now accelerated to about once every three months, and I think this pace is appropriate."
