On the 20th, as turnout No. 120 in Yard I of Jinde Station on the Liuzhou railway hub was successfully inserted and connected to the Liuzhou-Nanning passenger dedicated line linking Liuzhou and Nanning, the newly built Liuzhou-Wuzhou section of the Liuzhou-Guangzhou railway in Guangxi was smoothly connected to the national railway network. Ma Huishan, director of the engineering management department of the Liuzhou railway engineering construction command of China Railway Nanning Group, introduced that the construction for connecting the Liuzhou-Wuzhou railway to the Liuzhou-Nanning passenger dedicated line requires the insertion and laying of 20 turnouts at Jinde Station, along with supporting software and hardware renovation and debugging. After the station renovation is completed, the Liuzhou-Wuzhou railway will be fully integrated into the national railway network, laying the foundation for its subsequent opening and operation. "Track laying on the main line of the Liuzhou-Wuzhou railway has been basically completed, and static acceptance is currently being carried out in an orderly manner. Among this, the on-site inspection and acceptance work for the building construction specialty has been completed, and acceptance and defect rectification for other specialties are also progressing steadily as planned, with full-line dynamic testing scheduled to start in November," said Chen Zhixin, a track engineer in the engineering management department of Guangxi Liuwu Railway Co., Ltd. The newly built Liuzhou-Guangzhou railway is an important conventional-speed railway corridor from the southwest region to the Pearl River Delta in the national medium- and long-term railway network plan. The Liuzhou-Wuzhou section has a main line length of 238.167 kilometers and connects to Wuzhou Station on the Yizhan railway. It is a national railway Class I double-track electrified mixed passenger and freight railway with a design speed of 160 kilometers per hour.
