Bank of China (03988) Completes Issuance of RMB50 Billion Tier 2 Capital Bonds

Zhitong Finance APP News, Bank of China (03988) announced that the shareholders' meeting held on July 18, 2025 approved the proposal for the bank to issue capital instruments of no more than RMB 450 billion or equivalent in foreign currency. With approval from the relevant regulatory authorities, the bank issued a total of RMB 50 billion of write-down Tier 2 capital bonds (the current tranche of bonds) in the national interbank bond market on October 16, 2026, and completed the issuance on October 20, 2026.
