Traders familiar with the deals said Asian refiners in South Korea and India recently purchased US crude loaded for November shipment. India's Bharat Petroleum Corp (BPCL) and South Korea's SK Energy each bought one Aframax cargo of US crude, with each cargo about 750,000 barrels. Seoul-based GS Caltex purchased a Very Large Crude Carrier (VLCC) cargo from Chevron, with the cargo volume at about 2 million barrels.
