According to the agricultural situation of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, over 70 percent of the national autumn grain harvest has been completed. In Ili, Xinjiang, local authorities are vigorously promoting dense planting, high-yield and precision regulation technology for corn to continuously raise corn yields per unit area. As one of the core technologies of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs for improving corn yields per unit area, the dense planting, high-yield and precision regulation technology has been promoted and implemented in 26 provinces across the country, with a cumulative promoted area of more than 241 million mu and an average yield increase of 113 kilograms per mu. A relevant official of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs said: "We have completed the yield measurement in Ili. The 100-mu level reached 1,799.1 kilograms, and 3 million mu of corn reached one ton of grain per mu, which is a leading level of large-scale high yield in the world."
