Li Qiang travels to Dushanbe for an official visit to Tajikistan and to attend the 25th Meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Member States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

At the invitation of Tajik Prime Minister Rasulzoda, Premier Li Qiang of the State Council arrived at Dushanbe International Airport by chartered plane at noon local time on October 18, beginning an official visit to Tajikistan and attending the 25th Meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Member States. State Councilor and Secretary-General of the State Council Wu Zhenglong and other accompanying personnel arrived on the same plane. Rasulzoda led senior government officials to greet him at the airport and held a welcome ceremony for Li Qiang. Accompanied by Rasulzoda, Li Qiang inspected the guard of honor. Chinese Ambassador to Tajikistan Guo Zhijun also greeted him at the airport.
