Guangzhou Railway Group under China State Railway Group Co., Ltd. said on the 17th that over the past five years, it has driven its freight business away from the traditional production-oriented transport model toward a modern service-oriented logistics model. Total cargo dispatched by the group exceeded 600 million tonnes, up 26 percent from the previous five-year period, and single-day loading surpassed 8,000 cars on 20 occasions, with multiple core indicators repeatedly setting new historical records.
