U.S. officials rebut Zelensky, saying Trump did not order restrictions on Ukraine's use of the Starshield system

A senior U.S. official said President Donald Trump did not order any restrictions on Ukraine's use of SpaceX's Starshield satellite technology. Asked on Thursday whether Trump had ordered limits on Ukraine's use of Starshield, the official said the president had never made such a request. Ukrainian President Zelensky accused Trump and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk this week of restricting the Ukrainian military's use of the technology, saying the move led to civilian deaths because Ukrainian interceptor forces using the technology could not shoot down Russian drones as effectively as before.
