Roche and D. Boral Bio enter into a licensing agreement worth up to US$1.16 billion to develop innovative obesity therapies.

On October 13 local time, Dain Biotherapeutics announced that it has granted Roche an exclusive global license to its investigational RNAi candidate targeting activin receptor-like kinase 7. The candidate drug was developed using Dain Biotherapeutics' proprietary extrahepatic delivery platform technology. Under the terms of the agreement, Dain Biotherapeutics will receive up to $100 million in upfront and near-term milestone payments, and is also eligible to receive up to $1.06 billion in development, regulatory, and commercialization milestone payments, as well as tiered royalties on global net sales.
