India makes final countervailing duty determination on clear float glass from Malaysia and Indonesia

India's Ministry of Commerce and Industry has issued a notice, making a final countervailing ruling on transparent float glass with a thickness of 4 mm to 12 mm originating in or imported from Malaysia and Indonesia: it is recommended to impose a 5-year countervailing duty on the products involved from Malaysia on a CIF basis, as follows: producer Xinyi Energy Smart Sdn. Bhd at 11.61%, Kibing Group Sdn. Bhd. at 11.44%, Jinjing Technology Malaysia Sdn. Bhd at 8.58%, and other Malaysian producers at 15.66%; the products involved from Indonesia were found to have negligible subsidies during the investigation period, and the countervailing investigation against them is terminated. This case involves products under Indian customs codes 7003, 7004, 7005, 7007, 7008, 7009, etc.
