CSSC's first large-bore ammonia-fueled low-speed engine successfully completed its ammonia-mode sea trial.

According to CSSC Power Group, recently, the CPGC/CSE-WinGD 6X72DF-A-1.0-HPSCR ammonia-fueled low-speed engine, produced and built by CSSC Qingchai under CSSC Power Group, successfully completed its ammonia mode sea trial. The main engine demonstrated superior performance across all indicators, with ammonia emissions after combustion historically breaking through to below 10 ppm, achieving near-zero ammonia slip. It received high recognition from the shipowner, shipyard, and classification society, marking a milestone breakthrough for China's green ship power equipment in the field of zero-carbon transition.
