Recently, XPeng Group was elected Secretary-General of the newly established "Task Force on Exchange of Safety-Related Information for Automated Driving" (TF-ESRI) under the framework of the Working Party on Automated/Autonomous and Connected Vehicles (GRVA) within the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) vehicle regulations harmonization system. It will be responsible for supporting the working group's coordination and affairs management, and promoting the exchange of information and experience on real-world automated driving scenarios among global regulators, type-approval authorities, technical experts, and industry stakeholders. This is the first time a Chinese company has served as Secretary-General under the core framework of UN automated driving regulations. (Securities Times).
