During the National Day holiday, new home subscriptions in Shenzhen surged, and second-hand home transactions rose.
During the just-concluded National Day holiday, home-viewing activity in Shenzhen's property market continued to rise, with both new home subscriptions and second-hand home transactions increasing. From October 1 to 7, the number of pre-sale subscriptions for newly built commodity residential units in Shenzhen rose 78.5% year on year, and multiple residential projects chose to launch or release additional units during the National Day holiday. A property project in Nanshan District offered promotions during the holiday, including a 10% discount and fixed-price units, attracting many homebuyers to view and select homes. In addition, visitor numbers to new home projects in areas such as Guangming, Bao'an, and Longgang also increased significantly, with average daily customer visits at some projects during the holiday rising about 30% compared with ordinary days. Projects with high cost-effectiveness, complete supporting facilities, and better quality were welcomed by the market. At the same time, Shenzhen also held multiple good housing festival events, using service measures such as consumer coupons and commission reductions to further improve the convenience for residents replacing old homes with new ones. While the new home market heated up, second-hand home activity also increased in tandem. According to data from several local intermediary agencies, during the National Day holiday, the number of second-hand residential property viewings increased 13% year on year, and the number of signed transactions rose 49.1% year on year.
