During the National Day holiday, duty-free shops at Beijing's inbound ports saw a surge in consumption. With strong shopping demand from both domestic and international travelers, customer traffic and sales at duty-free stores both rose, demonstrating strong vitality in the port consumption market. As inbound tourism gains popularity, the departure tax refund policy has brought convenience to overseas tourists, further stimulating the inbound consumption market. According to customs statistics, from October 1 to 7, Beijing Capital Airport Customs processed a total of 3,428 departure tax refund applications, a year-on-year increase of 275.47%; the total value of departure tax refund applications exceeded 22.57 million yuan, up 32.8% year on year.
