The IMF schedule shows that Federal Reserve Chairman Warsh will attend the IMF annual meeting in Bangkok and deliver a speech at 11:30 a.m. Beijing time on October 16. That day is also the last day for officials to enter the quiet period before the Fed's October 27-28 policy meeting. The market is currently betting that the Fed will pause rate hikes at the October meeting and then raise rates in December.
