National Energy Administration: Average daily charging volume of new energy vehicles on highways during the National Day holiday increased by 51.42% year-on-year.

According to Zhitong Finance APP, the National Energy Administration has issued a statement saying that with the continuous growth in the number of new energy vehicles and the rising proportion of green travel by the public during holidays, the National Energy Administration guided localities to refine and improve charging support plans in advance, organized relevant parties to strengthen monitoring through information platforms, and made effective emergency dispatch arrangements to effectively guarantee the charging needs of large-scale new energy vehicle travel during this year's National Day holiday. Based on statistical analysis of the 62,700 highway charging facilities (guns) included in the national charging facility monitoring service platform, from 0:00 on October 1 to 24:00 on October 7, the total number of new energy vehicle charging sessions on China's highways reached 6.711 million, with charging volume reaching 163 million kWh, and average daily charging volume of 23.2566 million kWh, representing a year-on-year increase of 51.42% in average daily charging volume.
