Beijing: Building an Ultra-High-Definition Audiovisual Industry Ecosystem Cluster

Notice of the Beijing Municipal Radio and Television Bureau on Issuing the "Several Measures for Supporting the High-Quality Development of the Ultra-High-Definition Audiovisual Industry in Beijing." It states that an ultra-high-definition audiovisual industry ecosystem cluster will be built. Industrial parks, leading enterprises, and chain leader enterprises are encouraged to attract upstream and downstream enterprises in the ultra-high-definition audiovisual industry chain to gather and develop, build an ultra-high-definition audiovisual industry ecosystem cluster, construct an ultra-high-definition audiovisual industry service platform, implement new-type industrial incubator projects, and achieve rapid growth in the scale of the ultra-high-definition audiovisual industry. Based on comprehensive assessment of cluster construction capacity, cluster scale, service to industry conditions, and other factors, the support amount for a single project shall not exceed 3 million yuan. A platform for exchange and cooperation in the development of the ultra-high-definition audiovisual industry will be built. Qualified institutions are supported in deepening exchanges and cooperation with international standards organizations and in building a globalized innovation technology system in the field of ultra-high-definition audiovisual. Publicity and promotion of high-end talent, technology, projects, and other aspects in the field of ultra-high-definition audiovisual will be advanced, and an exchange and cooperation platform will be established for technology research and development enterprises in the ultra-high-definition audiovisual industry chain.
