According to Zhitong Finance APP, Huang Yingnian, Director of Ricacorp (Industrial and Commercial) Property, stated that overall sales and purchase registrations for Hong Kong's industrial and commercial properties showed renewed momentum in September after experiencing the earlier summer off-season and continued consolidation. According to preliminary provisional figures from the Hong Kong Land Registry, a total of 462 industrial and commercial property sale and purchase registrations were recorded in Hong Kong in September 2026, up 13.5% from 407 in August, successfully ending the decline and rebounding, and marking the third-highest level of the year. As for the total registration value during the month, it recorded HK$4.734 billion, down slightly by 2.0% month-on-month, showing a "volume up, price slightly down" trend. In September, the performance of the three major property categories diverged. Both industrial building and shop registrations rebounded, with industrial buildings recording the most notable increase of nearly 43%; office buildings declined due to consolidation at high levels.
