TrendForce: Q3 China energy storage orders total about 94GWh, with Chinese firms' overseas energy storage orders accounting for over 90%.

According to Zhitong Finance APP, based on incomplete statistics from TrendForce Energy Storage Watch, in the third quarter of 2026, orders disclosed by Chinese energy storage companies were mainly concentrated in overseas markets. Based on the disclosed orders, total energy storage system orders in Q3 were approximately 94GWh, and total energy storage cell orders were approximately 246.6GWh. The above statistical scope includes signed, commissioned, and delivered orders. Based on the disclosed signed orders, the scale of energy storage system contracts signed by Chinese companies in Q3 was approximately 74GWh, of which overseas market orders were approximately 67.8GWh, accounting for 93%.
