Real estate and mining sectors rise, Australian stock market climbs

Australia's S&P/ASX 200 index rose 0.4% to 8,720.30 points, led by the property and materials sectors. The benchmark index was lifted after the S&P 500 approached a record high and the Nasdaq 100 hit a new high. Investors temporarily set aside concerns about high oil prices and high bond yields, and U.S. tech stocks rallied. New Zealand's S&P/NZX index rose 0.1% to 13,718.89 points.
