A man has been charged with attempting to assassinate the leader of Britain's Reform Party

British police announced on the 2nd that a man previously charged with the murder of a former MP is now facing additional charges of "plotting to carry out a terrorist attack," with targets including Reform UK leader Nigel Farage. British police and prosecutors said that 28-year-old Joshua Kerry is accused of planning terrorist activities between May 2024 and July this year, some of which targeted Farage. Kerry, from the town of Rotherham in northern England, is scheduled to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court in London on the 7th of this month.
