U.S. stocks close: The three major stock indexes all closed higher.

The Dow rose 0.49%, the S&P 500 gained 0.74%, and the Nasdaq climbed 1.19%. Teradyne rose 8.00%, Hewlett Packard Enterprise gained 7.37%, SpaceX rose 7.35%, Echo Global Logistics gained 6.80%, ON SEMICONDUCTOR rose 6.01%, and Monolithic Power Systems gained 5.79%. Among the "Magnificent Seven": Tesla rose 4.65%, Google gained 1.62%, Nvidia rose 1.34%, Amazon gained 1.33%, Apple rose 1.02%, Microsoft gained 0.94%, and Meta Platforms rose 0.29%.
