China CDC issues health risk notice for National Day holiday: current influenza activity fluctuating at low-to-medium epidemic level

Currently, COVID-19 is at a low epidemic level, while influenza fluctuates at a low-to-moderate epidemic level. With increased population movement during the National Day holiday, it is recommended to wear masks appropriately when visiting public places such as transportation terminals and indoor venues to prevent the risk of respiratory infectious disease transmission. In some southern provinces, mosquito vectors remain relatively active, and dengue fever and chikungunya fever are showing a coexistence of multi-point sporadic cases and localized clusters.
