330 million person-trips made across regions on the first day of the National Day holiday.
The reporter learned from the Ministry of Transport: On October 1, the first day of the National Day holiday, the total cross-regional passenger flow across society is expected to reach 334.1 million person-trips, up 52.3% from the previous day. By mode of transport, railway passenger volume is expected to reach 24.8 million person-trips, up 26.9% from the previous day and up 7.2% from the same period last year; highway passenger flow is expected to reach 305.45 million person-trips, up 55.4% from the previous day but down 1.1% from the same period last year; waterway passenger volume is expected to reach 1.34 million person-trips, up 63% from the previous day and up 1.4% from the same period last year; civil aviation passenger volume is expected to reach 2.51 million person-trips, up 2.4% from the previous day and up 0.3% from the same period last year.
