Huangbai Railway Hongshui River Bridge main arch rib closure

On September 29, with the hoisting of the last arch rib segment into place, the arch ribs of the Hongshui River Railway Bridge on the Guizhou Huangtong-Guangxi Baise Railway, constructed by China Railway Major Bridge Engineering Group, were successfully closed. The bridge is located at the border between Guizhou and Guangxi, spanning the Hongshui River. This closure marks a key breakthrough in the bridge's main construction and lays a solid foundation for the entire line to be completed and opened to traffic on schedule. The Huangbai Railway is about 315 kilometers long, designed for a speed of 160 kilometers per hour, and is a Grade I single-track electrified railway, expected to be completed and opened to traffic in 2028. Once the project is completed, it will further improve the layout of the New Western Land-Sea Corridor and build a convenient major corridor for China's western region to reach the sea via rivers.
